Hutchison Ports arrived on Grand Bahama Island in 1996 to conduct a feasibility study confirming yet another location to do business. Not only did the group find the ideal location for a transshipment terminal, they further invested in the harbour, the airport, Devco and the island’s largest resort property, Grand Lucayan, then known as Our Lucaya.
